B. Configurations Available
The UXF-35 Series Life Preserver and Container Assembly is available in a
variety of configurations under the basic series part number identifier; P01202 (
). These configurations are the result of variations of vest color, equipment, and
customer requirements.
Variations of the basic design of the UXF-35 Assembly are identified by adding
part number modifiers to the base part number. Each configuration is
designated a specific part number identification.
A complete UXF-35 assembly part number consists of the following components
as defined below:
P01202-XXXWCD
P01202 Basic Series Specifier, which defines a single-cell, manual, self-
inflating life preserver folded and packed into a container pouch.
-XXX Variant Specifier, which defines features of the specific Life Preserver
assembly.
WCD Part Number Suffix Designators, which define special features of a
specific UXF-35 Life Preserver. The suffix designators used are
defined in Table 1. See Figure 2 for examples and a complete listing
of all UXF-35 part numbers.
