3. DESCRIPTION OF EQUIPMENT
A. General
The UXF-35 life preserver assembly contain an inflatable life preserver folded
and packed into a container pouch.
B. UXF-35 Polybag Pouch
The UXF-35 polybag pouch is used to retain and protect the folded life preserver
assembly inside the holding compartment aboard the aircraft until needed.
The container pouch is a standard polybag pack design. The transparent
container material allows the data and logo markings on the folded vest to be
viewed after the pouch is packed and sealed.
The container pouch has a tear strip sewn on one end to close the pouch after
packing of the life preserver and is pulled free to release the preserver when
needed.
