7.4 Heating system
The oil drum was filled heat transfer oil (mineral base, suggested brand name: Total). This is the specification:
Density: 0.83-0.87g/cm3 at 20 oC
Viscosity: 21-31 mm2/s at 50oC
Flash Point (open to air): 173 oC
Distillation range (2%v/v): 340 oC
Maximum temperature at use: 320 oC
In generally, the heating oil inside can be used for 3 years, no need to replace it. If necessary, please add oil
from the oil tank.
Note: Do not replace the parts/heating oil yourself without consulting our engineers. The parts must be
provided or approved by Eastsign.
