Performance
The 701 Pendant transmitter is designed to operate over short distances, the actual range
depends on the receiver aerial and the nature of the receiving path. As a reference, the 701
pendant transmitter /7500r receiver gives a range in excess of 300 meters over flat, open
ground: the following multipliers should assist range estimates.

Battery Life
The 701Transmitters are powered by lithium-manganese-dioxide batteries, which are
designed to give at least 20,000 operating cycles, or 3 years life if used twice per day.
The battery is permanently soldered to the transmitter and is not designed to be changed by
the user.
