Accidental Immersion
After accidental immersion in any liquids, the unit can be opened and dried as described
below. When completely dry the unit should be re-assembled, the case re-sealed and the
whole unit tested for correct operation and range.
If the unit accidentally drops into non-liquid food-substances, it can be carefully wiped clean
with a damp cloth. Do not under any circumstances wash the unit under running water or
immerse it in water or a cleaning fluid.
Disassembly
Open the case, by removing the two cross headed screws at the rear.
Turn the unit over so that the screw holes are underneath and gently remove the cover,
taking care not to damage the sealant. Place the cover to one side.
Remove the transmitter board and allow the whole unit to dry.
