1.3 List of I/O slice module devices
All I/O slice modules can be operated on the XN-312-GW-... gateways and
the XControl PLC range. In order to ensure that you will be able to fully
commission all I/O slice modules and functions, make sure that the gateway
operating system is up-to-date. The latest updates for the gateway operating
system can be downloaded from the
Software Download Center.
The I/O slice modules need to be locked in place together with the gateway
or PLC in order to form a system block. For a detailed description of how the
respective gateway works, please refer to the relevant manual:
