TO CHARGE THE BATTERY:
A full charge takes around 2 hours without interruption.
NEVER CHARGE THE BATTERY FOR MORE THAN 24 HOURS. IT CAN DAMAGE
YOUR CHARGER AND YOUR BATTERY.
You can charge the battery at any time, since your battery is said to be “me-
mory-free” and your charger is of the “smart type”. It will stop charging by
itself when the battery is fully charged. Nevertheless, it is essential to not let
the battery connected to the charger for more than 24 hours.
It is recommended to charge the battery aer each ride.
If you do not use your EAB for extended periods, store the battery in accor-
dance with the battery maintenance and storage instructions set out in the
Owner’s Manual aer having completed a full charge of the battery for 2
hours.
Then, to maintain the anticipated lifespan of the battery and its proper func-
tioning, you have two options:
1. Charge the battery for 30 minutes each month; or
2. Put the battery in “sleep mode”: Hold the power button of the
battery for 15 seconds. Aer this delay, re-press the button normally
for one second. If the indicator light does not turn on, your battery
is now in “sleep mode”. To remove the battery from “sleep mode”,
follow the instructions FOR INITIAL BATTERY CHARGING
Always use the lithium charger provided by EBGO with an EBGO lithium bat-
tery, or you could damage your charger and your battery.
