Why is there not enough hot water from my Eccotemp 45-H?
    • C
      Corey CampbellAug 1, 2025
There are several reasons why you might not be getting enough hot water. First, ensure the water shutoff valve is fully opened. Also, check that the hot water faucet is completely open, as the burner shuts off if the water volume is too low. Frozen water pipes, a cut off water or electricity supply, or the unit not being turned 'ON' could also be the cause. The temperature setting may also be too low, or there may be a Mixing Valve malfunction. Finally, check the remote control for any error codes and contact a dealer if necessary.

What to do if my Eccotemp 45-H water is too hot?

      Elizabeth ScottAug 12, 2025
If the water from your Eccotemp Water Heater is too hot, first decrease the temperature setting. Also, check that the water shutoff valve is fully opened. If only a small amount of water has been heated, allow more water to flow. Lastly, a clogged water filter can also cause this issue, so clean the filter with a toothbrush.

Why does the fan keep running on my Eccotemp 45-H Water Heater?
    • R
      Rachel LamAug 20, 2025
The fan continues to rotate after the hot water faucet is closed because this function is to purge unburned gas for 10-15 seconds. This is normal operation, and there is no need to call for service. Check for error codes.
