Emptying the water container
The appliance has an automatic water evaporation system. The circulation of condensed
water cools the evaporator. This not only increases the e ciency of cooling, but also saves
energy.
When the water container is full the display shows message “FL” accompanied by acoustic
alarm. The compressor stops working automatically. In this case it is necessary to empty
the water. Proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect the appliance from power and remove the exhaust hose assembly.
2. Place the air conditioner in asuitable place.
3. Remove the drain plug and drain the water from the appliance.
4. Carefully replace the drain plug.
5. Put back the exhaust hose and switch on the air conditioner.
Maintenance
Attention: Turn o the appliance and disconnect it from power before cleaning and maintenance to prevent
injury by electric shock!
Cleaning the external surface
1. Unplug the power supply from the outlet.
2. Wipe it with a ne cloth. Do not use benzine, solvent or other chemicals for cleaning. These substances
could damage the surface of the device and deform plastic components.
3. Protect the appliance from water getting in.
Cleaning the  lter
We recommend to clean the  lter every 14 days. If the air is polluted it is necessary to clean it more often. When
the  lter is gradually clogged with dust, the e ciency of air conditioning is reduced. When cleaning, do the
following:
1. Remove the input grill and then  lter, see picture.
2. Place the  lter in asolution of neutral detergent or hot water (40° C) and let it dry in the shade after
washing it.
3. Replace the clean  lter back. Turn on the air conditioner and operate it as usual.
Notes:
• To clean the  lter do not use overly hot water (ideal temperature is about 40° C) and aggressive cleaning
agents (alcohol, gasoline, paint thinners).
• To avoid deformation of the  lter protect it from heat and let it dry by itself.
• Do not operate the appliance without inserted  lter.
Seasonal maintenance
If you are not using the appliance for longer time do the following seasonal maintenance:
1. Remove the drain plug and drain the water from the appliance.
If the  lter is not too dirty, you can remove the
dust with avacuum cleaner.
Wash heavily soiled  lter with warm water.
