  If your ECG Air Conditioner isn't cooling effectively, check for a few common causes. Make sure direct sunlight isn't entering the room; if it is, close the curtains. Also, close any open doors and windows, and try to reduce the number of heat sources in the room. A clogged filter can also reduce cooling performance, so clean or replace it. Finally, ensure that neither the air intake nor the air outflow is blocked.

  If your ECG Air Conditioner isn't turning on, first, ensure that the power is switched on. If the display shows “FL”, switch it off, drain the water, and then switch it back on. Note that if the timer shut-off function was activated, you can turn the air conditioner back on 3 minutes after turning it off. The unit also might not work if the ambient temperature is outside of its operating range (7°C to 35°C). Also, if you are in cooling mode, ensure that the room temperature is not lower than the set temperature; if you are in dehumidifying mode, ensure that the room temperature is higher than 16°C.
