Why is my Echo CHAIN SAW CS-330T Chainsaw engine cranking but not starting?
- PpaulakingJul 26, 2025
If your Echo Chainsaw engine cranks but doesn't start, several factors could be the cause. It might be due to a clogged fuel strainer or fuel line, which would require cleaning or replacement. Alternatively, the issue could stem from an incorrect spark plug gap, carbon buildup, fuel fouling, or a defective plug. In such cases, adjust the gap to .65mm (0.026 in.), or clean/replace the plug as needed. In other cases, the fuel mixture may be too rich, try opening the choke, cleaning or replacing the air filter, or adjusting the carburetor. If the issue persists, consult your Echo dealer.
