Try cleaning or replacing the fuel strainer or fuel line. If the fuel mixture is too rich, open the choke, clean or replace the air filter, or adjust the carburetor. Also, make sure the stop switch is in the ON position. Check the spark plug gap and adjust it to 0.65mm (0.026in.), or clean/replace the spark plug if it's covered with carbon or fouled with fuel, or replace the spark plug if it's defective. If these steps don't resolve the issue, consult your Echo dealer.
