A fuel mixture that's too rich could also be the culprit; try opening the choke, cleaning or replacing the air filter, adjusting the carburetor, or seeking assistance from your dealer. Ensure the stop switch is in the ON position, and if there's an electrical or interlock switch issue, consult your dealer. Finally, check the spark plug; if the gap is incorrect, it's covered with carbon, fouled with fuel, or defective, adjust the gap to 0.65mm (0.026 in.) or clean/replace the plug.
