Hanging and Lifting Hooks
Hanging Hook (A):
Attach a rope or carabiner to
prevent accidental dropping
of saw while working in a
tree.
Lifting Hook (B):
Use to hook and unhook from
harness in one quick
movement.
OPERATION
Starting the Unit
When starting the unit, observe the precautions described in the
section "For safe use of your product" to ensure that you
operate the product correctly. Failure to do so might cause
serious personal injury.
1. Fill the chain oil tank
with lubricant.
2. Remove the guide
bar cover.
3. Make sure the guide
bar and saw chain
are not touching
anything when
starting the chainsaw.
4. Push front hand
guard (A) forward to
engage chain brake.
5. Push power button (B) once to turn on power to unit.
Note: Power indicator LED (C) blinks when power to unit is turned
on with chain brake engaged.
6. Pull front hand guard rearward to disengage chain brake.
