Why does my Echo GT-22GES Trimmer engine run, then die?

  If your Echo Trimmer engine runs but dies or accelerates poorly, several factors could be at play. A dirty air filter or fuel filter can cause this, so try cleaning or replacing them. A plugged fuel vent, spark plug issues, a misadjusted carburetor, a plugged cooling system, or a blocked exhaust port/silencer might also be the cause. Clean the fuel vent, address the spark plug by cleaning, adjusting, or replacing it, adjust the carburetor, and ensure the cooling system and exhaust port/silencer are clean.
