Why does my Echo GT-22G engine run, then die?

A plugged fuel vent, spark plug issues, a misadjusted carburetor, a plugged cooling system, or a blocked exhaust port/silencer might also be the cause. Clean the fuel vent, address the spark plug by cleaning, adjusting, or replacing it, adjust the carburetor, and ensure the cooling system and exhaust port/silencer are clean.
