Why does my Echo GT-22G engine run, then die?

  If your Echo Trimmer engine runs but dies or accelerates poorly, several factors could be at play. A dirty air filter or fuel filter can cause this, so try cleaning or replacing them. A plugged fuel vent, spark plug issues, a misadjusted carburetor, a plugged cooling system, or a blocked exhaust port/silencer might also be the cause. Clean the fuel vent, address the spark plug by cleaning, adjusting, or replacing it, adjust the carburetor, and ensure the cooling system and exhaust port/silencer are clean.

Why is the silencer on my Echo Trimmer wet with fuel?

  If the silencer of your Echo Trimmer is wet with fuel, it could be due to a fuel mixture that is too rich. Try opening the choke. Additionally, consider cleaning or replacing the air filter and adjusting the carburetor. If these steps don't resolve the issue, consult your ECHO dealer.

  If there's no spark at the plug in your Echo Trimmer, it could be due to several reasons. The spark gap might be incorrect; adjust it to be between 0.6 and 0.7 mm. The plug might be covered with carbon or fouled with fuel, in which case you should clean or replace it. Also, the spark plug itself could be defective, so try replacing it with a new one.
