OPERATION HC-165/185
Rotating Operation
HC-165/185 Hedge Clipper throttle handles are adjustable for operator comfort at all angles of operation.
Stop engine before rotating throttle handle, otherwise serious personal injury may result.
Changing throttle handle angle may change exhaust
direction. Use a grip and operating position that blows
exhaust away from you.
Rotating Throttle Handle
1. Move stop switch (A) to STOP position.
2. Press handle rotation release button (B) to unlock throttle
handle rotation.
Note: Throttle trigger must be at idle position in order to press
the rotation lock button.
3. Rotate throttle handle (C) right or left to the 45º or 90º detent
setting. A slight "CLICK" will be heard as the detent is
engaged.
