Lubrication
Level 1.
Drive Shaft Upper
1. Loosen clamping knob (A)
2. Pull locater pin (B) and rotate ¼
turn counterclockwise to
lockout position.
3. Remove attachment.
4. Remove coupler from upper
drive shaft assembly by
loosening clamping screw (C)
and removing set screw (D).
5. Remove upper flex cable (E),
wipe clean, and apply a thin
coating of 15 ml (0.5 oz.) of
grease.
6. Install cable. Make sure that the
flex cable fully engages into the
clutch square drive socket.
7. Slide coupler on upper drive
shaft until fully seated, and
align set screw hole in coupling
with hole in upper drive shaft.
8. Install and tighten set screw (D), and tighten clamping screw (C).
Parts Required: Lithium Based Grease.
