  If your Echo Lawn and Garden Equipment engine runs but then dies or doesn't accelerate correctly, several issues could be the cause. A dirty air filter, fuel filter, or spark plug can cause these problems; try cleaning or replacing them. Also, check if the fuel vent is plugged and clean or replace it if necessary. Improper carburetor adjustment, a dirty cooling system, or a plugged spark arrestor screen could also be the cause; adjust the carburetor, clean the cooling system, or replace the spark arrestor screen to resolve these issues.

  If your Echo Lawn and Garden Equipment engine cranks but either starts with difficulty or doesn't start at all, there might be several reasons. Ensure the switch is in the ON position. Check for fuel reaching the carburetor; if there's none, clean or replace the necessary components. If the muffler is wet with fuel, open the choke, and clean or replace the air filter. Also, inspect the spark plug; adjust the gap to .65mm (0.026 in.), clean, or replace it.
