Why does my Echo PB-751H run but die or not accelerate properly?

      Joseph DrakeAug 1, 2025
If your Echo Blower runs, but dies or doesn't accelerate properly, several factors could be responsible. A dirty air filter, fuel filter, or a plugged fuel vent can cause these issues; try cleaning or replacing them as needed. A dirty or worn spark plug can also be the culprit, so clean and adjust or replace it. Improper carburetor adjustment or a dirty/plugged cooling system might also be to blame; adjust the carburetor or clean the cooling system. Finally, check the spark arrestor screen for blockage and replace if necessary.

How to fix an Echo PB-751H that cranks but doesn't start?
    • J
      Jaime WiseAug 10, 2025
If your Echo Blower cranks but doesn't start, there could be several reasons. Check if fuel is reaching the carburetor; if not, clean or replace the carburetor. If the muffler is wet with fuel, open the choke, clean or replace the air filter and adjust the carburetor. Also, ensure the switch is in the ON position and inspect the spark plug. Adjust the spark plug to .65mm (0.026in.), and clean or replace the spark plug as needed.

What to do if my Echo Blower runs, but the blower doesn't work or is weak?

If your Echo Blower runs, but the blower doesn't work or is weak/uneven, it might be due to a clogged, loose, or damaged pipe. Try unclogging the pipe first. If the pipe is loose, tighten it. If the pipe is damaged, replace it.
