Why does my Echo Blower engine start hard or not start at all?
- BBobby AlvarezJul 27, 2025
If your Echo Blower engine is hard to start or won't start, it could be due to several reasons. The fuel strainer or fuel line might be obstructed, requiring cleaning or replacement, or the fuel mixture might be too rich, requiring you to open the choke, clean or replace the air filter, or adjust the carburetor. Also, check that the ignition isn't in the STOP position. Incorrect gap, carbon buildup, fuel fouling, or a defective plug could also be the reason. In this case, adjust the gap to 0.65mm (0.026 in.) or clean/replace the plug.
