Always keep clear of exhaust and muffler area, otherwise serious personal injury may

occur.

The engine exhaust from this product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause

cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Users of this equipment risk injury to themselves and others if the unit is used

improperly and/or safety precautions are not followed. ECHO provides an operator’s

manual. It must be read and understood for proper and safe operation. Failure to do so

could result in serious injury.

Why does my Echo PB-580 H/T Blower engine crank but not start?

  If your Echo Blower engine cranks but struggles to start or doesn't start at all, there could be several reasons. The fuel strainer or fuel line might be clogged, so you should clean or replace them. If the fuel mixture is too rich, open the choke. Also ensure the air filter is clean or replaced. If the spark plug is covered with carbon or fouled with fuel, clean or replace it. A defective spark plug should also be replaced.

  If your Echo Blower engine starts but then dies or fails to accelerate correctly, several factors could be at play. A dirty air filter may be restricting airflow, so try cleaning or replacing it. Similarly, a dirty fuel filter could be the issue, in which case you should replace it. Another potential cause is a plugged fuel vent; clean or replace it to resolve this. A dirty or worn spark plug can also cause these symptoms; clean and adjust or replace the spark plug. Overheating can also cause the engine to die or not accelerate properly, so clean the cooling system. Finally, a plugged spark arrestor screen can cause these issues, so replace it.

  If the engine of your Echo Blower runs, but the blower itself doesn't work, or the airflow is weak or uneven, check for a clogged pipe and unclog it. Also, ensure all parts are tightened properly. If there is wear or misuse, replace the affected components.
