Why does my Echo PB-770 H/T engine crank but not start?
    • B
      Brooke LynchJul 26, 2025
If your Echo Blower's engine cranks but struggles to start or doesn't start at all, several factors could be at play. The fuel strainer or fuel line might be clogged, requiring cleaning or replacement. A fuel mixture that's too rich could also be the culprit; in this case, try opening the choke, cleaning or replacing the air filter, or adjusting the carburetor. Other potential issues include a lack of spark, which may require turning the switch to the 'ON' position. Also check the spark plug: the gap might be incorrect (adjust to .65mm), it could be covered with carbon or fouled with fuel (clean or replace), or the plug itself might be defective (replace it). For carburetor or no spark issues, consult your Echo dealer.

What to do if Echo PB-770 H/T Blower engine runs, but dies or does not accelerate properly?
    • B
      Breanna OrtizAug 5, 2025
If your Echo Blower engine runs but either dies or fails to accelerate correctly, the issue might stem from a dirty air filter (clean or replace it) or a dirty fuel filter (replace it). A plugged fuel vent (clean or replace it) or a dirty/worn spark plug (clean and adjust or replace it) could also be responsible. Additionally, check for improper carburetor adjustment (adjust it) or a dirty/plugged cooling system (clean it). Finally, a plugged spark arrestor screen (replace it) might be the cause.

How to fix an Echo PB-770 H/T that runs but the blower doesn't work?
    • T
      todddoyleAug 15, 2025
If the engine of your Echo Blower runs, but the blower itself isn't working, is weak, or functions unevenly, consider these possibilities: the pipe might be clogged (unclog it), the pipe could be loose (tighten it), or the pipe may be damaged (replace it).
