What to do if my Echo PPT-260 - 08-00 engine cranks but won't start?

  If your Echo Pole Saw engine cranks but doesn't start, there could be several reasons: * **No spark at plug:** Adjust the plug to 0.65mm (0.026 in.), or clean or replace the spark plug. * **Muffler wet with fuel:** Open the choke, clean or replace the air filter, and adjust the carburetor. * **No fuel at carburetor/cylinder:** Clean the carburetor, or see your ECHO dealer. * **No spark at end of plug wire:** Turn the switch on, or see your ECHO dealer.

  If your Echo Pole Saw engine runs poorly, check the following: * **Air filter dirty:** Clean or replace the air filter. * **Fuel filter dirty:** Replace the fuel filter. * **Fuel vent plugged:** Replace the fuel vent. * **Spark plug:** Clean and adjust/replace the spark plug. * **Cooling system plugged:** Adjust the cooling system. * **Spark arrestor screen plugged:** Clean the spark arrestor screen.
