The muffler or catalytic muffler and surrounding cover may
become extremely hot. Always keep clear of exhaust and
muffler area, otherwise serious personal injury may occur.
The engine exhaust from this product contains chemicals known to the
State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive
harm.
Users of this equipment risk injury to themselves and others
if the unit is used improperly and/or safety precautions are
not followed. Echo provides an operator’s manual and a
safety manual. Both must be read and understood for proper
and safe operation. Failure to do so could result in serious injury.

    Why is my Echo Pole Saw engine hard to start?

      If your Echo Pole Saw engine starts hard or doesn't start at all, possible causes include a fuel strainer or fuel line obstruction (clean or replace), a carburetor issue (consult your Echo dealer), a fuel mixture that's too rich (open choke, clean or replace the air filter, adjust carburetor), a stop switch that's OFF or an electrical problem (turn the switch ON), or an incorrect, carbon-covered, fuel-fouled, or defective spark plug (adjust to 0.65mm or 0.026 in, clean or replace the plug).

      If your Echo Pole Saw engine runs but dies, or if it doesn't accelerate properly, it could be due to a dirty air filter (clean or replace), a dirty fuel filter (replace filter or fuel), a plugged fuel vent (clean or replace), a dirty or worn spark plug (clean and adjust or replace), improper adjustment (adjust), a dirty or plugged cooling system (clean), or a plugged spark arrestor screen (replace).
