Before you start
3. Thread nylon line cutting head (B) onto shaft (anticlockwise)
until it is tight.
4. Remove locking tool (C).
U-handle version
U-handle assembly
1. Install handle assembling bracket (upper) (A) in handle as-
sembling bracket (lower) (D) and fix handle by tightening
handle assembling bolt (8 mm) (B) lightly.
2. Adjust inclination of handle to adequate position (easy to op-
erate) and tighten firmly handle assembling bolt.

3. To eliminate loosening of throttle wire (I), fix it to shaft tube
(H) (2 places) and to right hand U-handle (1 place) with wire
fixing clips (G).

Installation of shield
1. Fit bracket (A) to mounting portion of angle transmission and
fix the bracket by holding fitting plate (B) pressed from be-
neath and tighten 4 bolts (M5×25) (C) lightly.
2. Get notches (D) and convexes of fitting plate (E) to face cor-
responding convexes and concaves of bracket, and fix
bracket tightening 4 bolts (M5×25) securely.
CAUTION
Install the handle so that it does not hide any of the
safety decals.
CAUTION
After assembly, adjust the play of wire end (J) on carbu-
rettor (L) side to 1 mm - 2 mm.
