      There are several reasons why your Echo Trimmer engine might be hard to start or not start at all: * The fuel strainer or fuel line may be obstructed. In this case, clean or replace them. For more assistance, consult your dealer. * There may be an issue with the carburetor. Consult your dealer. * The fuel mixture might be too rich. Open the choke, clean or replace the air filter, and adjust the carburetor. For further assistance, consult your dealer. * The stop switch may be OFF, or there could be an electrical or interlock switch problem. Turn the switch to ON. For electrical issues, consult your dealer. * The spark plug may have an incorrect gap, be covered with carbon, fouled with fuel, or be defective. Adjust the gap to 0.65mm (0.026 in.) or clean/replace the plug.
