      Robert DavisJul 27, 2025
If you cannot access the Internet using your EchoLife Gateway, first ensure that none of the previously mentioned problems exist. Verify that your dial-up software is correctly installed and set up on your computer. Also, double-check that you've entered the correct username and password. Make sure the proxy server on your Internet Explorer is correctly configured and that the proxy server is disabled. Try accessing different websites to rule out website-specific issues. Finally, try stopping the dial-up connection and re-establishing it after 5 minutes.

If the LAN indicator on your EchoLife Gateway is not lit, ensure that you are using the network cable provided with the device and that all cables are properly connected. Check that the network adapter indicator on your computer is on and that your network card is working normally. Right-click 'My Computer', select 'Properties', then navigate to 'Hardware > Device Manager' to check for any devices marked with a question mark (?) or exclamation point (!) under 'Network adapters'. If any such devices are present, try uninstalling and reinstalling them, or change the NIC slot. If the problem persists, consider changing the NIC.
