Install the Vanos hubs onto the cam sprockets using one new M6 x 25 bolt
at the top of each one. Make sure the following points apply:
Install the remaining new M6 x 25 bolts into the Vanos hubs. Thread them
in by hand, and leave them hand tight only.
A: Make sure the diaphragm springs and pressure plates
remain in place during installation.
B: Make sure one of the Vanos hub side holes is located at the
top for each hub (arrows).
C: The oil pump drive tabs on the exhaust hub will be in a
horizontal position.
D: Install one bolt, hand tight only, in the positions shown.
