DISASSEMBLY
1. Lift and support vehicle on correct load rated jackstand on
stable surface.
2. Unbolt I-pipe from just in front of muffler.
3. Cutting overaxle pipe at rear of muffler will make removing
muffler, overaxle, and I-pipe assembly easier, remove
muffler, I-pipe, and overaxle at this time.
ASSEMBLY
1. Bolt the I-pipe #25-3314 onto the flange at the rear of the
particulate filter using supplied gasket.
2. Install muffler with inlet facing forward using a 4” band
clamp #23-1820 from the installation kit, snug at this time.
Note that the inlet end of the muffler has the number
stamped on the end cap (#25-5578).
3. Install the overaxle assembly #25-3315 placing the hanger
into the rubber isolator and slip into muffler using a 4” band
clamp, snug at this time.
4. Install overaxle extension pipe #25-3316 placing the hanger
into the rubber isolator and connecting the pipe to the
overaxle pipe using a 4” band clamp, snug at this time.
5. Install tailpipe #25-2392 using a 4” band clamp, snug at this
time. Welding the tailpipe is highly recommended.
6. Starting at the front of the vehicle to rear, align and
tighten all clamps and hanger clamp assemblies. Position
system for clearance around surrounding hoses, lines,
cables, spare tire, and frame members for best clearance.
