Position the vehicle on a level and stable surface for safe installation.
Lift and support the vehicle securely, noting wheel removal is optional but helpful.
Unbolt the front torque arm bushing bracket from the transmission.
Unbolt the rear of the torque arm from the rear end and remove it from the chassis.
Remove the front bushing and its bracket from the original equipment manufacturer's arm.
Grind off rivet heads and disassemble the bracket to remove the OEM bushing.
Install the inner bracket onto the transmission.
Place the new torque arm on the rear end, using factory bolts and supplied washers.
Grease the polyurethane bushing and install it onto the torque arm, ensuring correct orientation.
Install the outer bracket and tighten it at this time.
Torque the rear bolts to 97 ft./lbs.
After driving 10 miles, re-torque all bolts and perform regular checks.
