Outdoor/altitude operation
The pumps are not designed for outdoor use.
The pumps can only be used in temperatures above 0° C (+32° F). If frost might occur, the appropriate
measures should be taken to avoid damage to the machine and its ancillary equipment. In this case, consult
Edwards.
Also if operating above 1000 m (3300 ft.), consult Edwards.
Moving/lifting
The pump is delivered on a wooden pallet. During transport, the pump is secured to the pallet using bolts.
Remove the transport fixation bolt before lifting. Lift the pump carefully with a hoist of appropriate lifting
capacity.
The lifting eye (1) provided at the top of the pump for lifting. See figure below.
The pump can be moved by a hoist using the lifting eye. Take care not to damage the bodywork during
lifting or transport.
Ensure that the eyebolt is fully wound in to the lifting boss. Ensure eye bolt is in serviceable condition and
rated according to the load.
The motor is also equipped with an eyebolt but is only designed for the motor itself.
