7.3.3 Sharpening saw blade
Attention!
Blades that are not properly sharpened will result in loss of production and endanger the
user.
If your equipment needs to be resharpened, please contact the sharpening service at
your nearest authorised service centre or our head office.
Sharpening can also be carried out on commercially available automatic reciprocating saw blade sharpening
machines.
More detailed information on sharpening the saw blade is available on request from our Service department.
Attention!
Do not use force, as parts could be damaged!
Only use genuine EFA spare parts!
7.4 Oil mist lubricator
For proper functioning and to maintain the appropriate service life of the EFA pneumatically operated
breastbone saw, the oil mist lubricator (filter pressure reducer) must be checked at regular intervals (1 x per
week).
 Remove any condensation and, if necessary, top up with special oil (available from Schmid & Wezel
GmbH).
 Check the operating pressure (max. 8 bar) at regular intervals.
