CHANGING OILCHANGING OIL
1. Park the motorcycle on a level surface.
2. Place a suitable oil container under the engine.
3. If the engine is cold, start it and let it idle for 3-5 minutes.
4.Turn the engine o.
5. Wait 2-3 minutes for the oil to settle.
6. Remove the oil ll cap.(C) (C)
7. Remove the oil drain bolt (A)(A) and the seal ring (B)(B)
8. Let the oil drain out from the engine.
9. Aer most of the oil has drained, slowly tilt the motorcycle
from side to side to drain the remaining oil in the crankcase.
10. A suitable container must be used to pour the drained oil
and to be disposed of in an approved manner.
11. Remove the old sealing ring (B)(B) and install a new sealing
ring on the drain bolt.
12. Install the drain bolt and tighten to specied torque of:
18Ibs. (24N.m)
13. Pour recommended oil in the crankcase through the oil
ll cap: Approx. 0.6L
14. Install the oil ll cap/dipstick and tighten.
15. Start the engine and let it idle for 3-5 minutes.
16. Stop the engine.
17. Wait 2-3 minutes for the oil to settle.
18. Remove the oil dipstick, wipe o the oil, insert the dip-
stick back but do not tighten it.
19. Remove the dipstick and check the level.
20. If needed, add more oil until the level is at the top mark
on the dipstick. DO NOT OVERFILL.
