BASIC MAINTENANCE PROCEDURESBASIC MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES
Hydraulic brakes require brake uid for its operation. Both front and rear brakes have a brake uid reservoir built
into the master cylinders. Follow the procedures below to check and ll the cylinders with the specied brake
uid.

ADDING BRAKE FLUID (Front) ADDING BRAKE FLUID (Front)
1. Clean all dirt and dust from the master cylinder
cap (A)(A) before opening.
2. Remove the cap screws (B)(B) with a phillips head
screwdriver.
3. Remove the cap. Be careful not to damage the
diaphragm gasket that is seated under the cap.
4. Add the required amount in to the cylinder
(DO NOT OVERFILL)(DO NOT OVERFILL) Always use new uid
from a sealed container.
5. Replace the diaphragm and cap and tighten the
screws securely.
6. Slowly squeeze the brake lever to be sure the
brakes are working properly.
7. Check the brake hose and brake caliper for leaks.

!
Be very careful not to spill brake uid on painted surfaces or
it will damage the paint. It will also be harmful to some rubber
parts. Be careful when you remove the master cylinder cap,
make sure the motorcycle is in an upright position.
