WARNING: Never operate the machine without the guard and the front handle
with barrier bar firmly in place. Failure to comply could result in possible serious
personal injury.
MOUNTING THE GUARD
1. Loosen the two screws in the
guard with the supplied hex key,
and remove the screws and spring
washers from the guard (Fig. 2).
2. Align the guard mounting holes with
assembly holes and then secure the
guard onto the shaft base with the
two screws and two spring washers
(Fig. 3).
WARNING: Make sure the guard is
mounted according to Fig. 2 & 3. Incorrect
mounting of the guard will cause great
danger!
MOUNTING THE BLADE
1. The blade is shipped with a sheath.
Before mounting the blade onto the
brush cutter, the sheath should be
removed by undoing the clamp wire
from the loop on the sheath (Fig. 4).
