What to do if my EGO CH2100 doesn’t work and the red LED is flashing?

  If your EGO Battery Charger isn't working and the red LED is flashing or all LEDs are off, there might be a bad connection between the battery and charger, or the battery pack/charger could be defective. First, try removing and reinserting the battery pack. If that doesn't work, try charging a different battery. As an alternative, unplug the charger, wait for the red LED to turn off, and then plug it back in.

Why is the red LED shining red on my EGO CH2100 and it doesn’t work?

  If the red LED on your EGO Battery Charger shines red and the charger isn't working, it could be because the battery pack is either too hot or too cold. Allow the battery pack to reach a normal temperature between 37°F (3°C) and 135°F (57°C). Charging will automatically begin once the battery pack is within this temperature range.

  If your EGO Battery Charger is producing a rhythmic sound and the power indicator on the battery pack is off, the battery pack might be over-discharged. Leave the battery on the charger and check after 30 minutes to see if the power indicator turns on. If it does, the battery pack has been successfully activated. If not, the battery pack may be damaged.

Leave the battery on the charger and check it again after 30 minutes to see if the power indicator turns on. If it does, the battery pack has been successfully activated.
