  If the motor of your EGO Chainsaw doesn't start, here are a few things to check: * Ensure the battery pack is properly attached. * Check and clean the battery contacts before reinstalling the battery. * Make sure the battery pack is fully charged. * Allow the battery pack and chainsaw to cool down if they are too hot (above 152°F or 67°C). * Disengage the chain brake by pulling the chain-kickback brake handle backward. * Remove any debris from the bar groove or side cover.

  If your EGO Chainsaw isn't cutting properly, consider the following: * Ensure the chain has sufficient tension by adjusting the quick chain-tension knob. * Sharpen the chain cutters. * Verify the chain is installed correctly. * Replace the chain if it's worn. * Check and refill the chain oil tank if the chain is dry or excessively stretched.
