  The motor of your EGO Chainsaw might not be running due to several reasons: the battery pack may not be attached, there might be no electrical contact between the saw and battery, the battery pack could be depleted or too hot, the lock-off button might not be depressed before pressing the trigger, the chain brake could be engaged, the saw chain might be bound in the wood, or there could be debris in the bar groove or side cover. To resolve this, attach the battery pack, check and reinstall the battery, charge the battery pack, allow the battery pack or chain saw to cool, press the lock-off button before the trigger, disengage the chain brake, remove the saw chain from the wood, or clean out any debris.
