If the bar and chain of your EGO Chainsaw are running hot and smoking, it could be due to several reasons. First, check the chain tension to ensure it's not too tight, and re-tension if necessary. Also, the chain oil tank might be empty; refill it with bar and chain lubricant. Finally, there might be debris in the guide bar groove; clear it out to ensure smooth operation.
