UNPACKING

Inspect the tool carefully to make sure that no breakage or damage occurred
during shipping.

Do not discard the packing material until you have carefully inspected and
satisfactorily operated the tool.

If any parts are damaged or missing, please return the product to the place of
purchase.
CONNECTING THE SNOW SHOVEL ATTACHMENT TO THE POWER HEAD
WARNING: Never attach or adjust any attachment while the power head is
running or with the battery installed. Failure to stop the motor and remove the battery
may cause serious personal injury.
This snow shovel attachment is designed for use only with EGO Power Head PH1400/
PH1400-FC.
The snow shovel attachment connects to the power head by means of a coupler device.
1. Stop the motor and remove the battery pack.
2. Loosen the wing knob on the power-head coupler.
3. Remove the end cap on the snow shovel attachment and save it in a safe place
for later use. Align the arrow on the snow shovel shaft with the arrow on the
coupler (Fig. 2a) and push the snow shovel shaft into the coupler until you hear
a clear “CLICK” sound. The coupler should be positioned all the way to the RED
LINE labeled on the snow shovel shaft: the red line must be flush with the coupler
edge (Fig. 2b).
