TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The snow shovel
does not start.
◾
The battery is not
charged.
◾
The lock-off button or
trigger switch is not
used properly.
◾
The battery is not
fully inserted into the
housing.
◾
Charge the battery.
◾
Follow the section“STARTING/STOPPING
THE POWER HEAD” in the manual for
PH1400/PH1400-FC.
◾
Check if the battery is fully inserted into the
housing.
The machine is
visibly damaged.
◾
Accidental damage
during transportation
or use.
◾
Do not continue to use, contact EGO
customer service.
The snow shovel
leaves a thin
layer
.
◾
The scraper bar is
worn.
◾
Replace the scraper bar.
Unexpected
shutdown during
work. No snow is
thrown from the
deck.
◾
Machine is
overloaded.
The auger is
completely
jammed by the heavy
snow.
◾
The battery pack
or the machine is
overheated.
◾
Remove the snow from the auger and
reduce the machine load intensity.
◾
Allow the battery and/or tool to cool down
before resuming work.
