Regulating the ow rate
1. Regulate the ow rate continuously variably using the OUT shut-o valve. To do so, move the shut-
o valve into the desired position between ON (100%) and OFF (0%).
CAUTION! Material damage.
▶ Never reduce the ow rate using the IN shut-o valve.
Switching o the external lter
1. Remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
Maintenance

▶ All appliances must be disconnected from the power supply before any maintenance work is carried
out.
CAUTION! Material damage.
▶ Do not use hard objects or aggressive cleaning agents for cleaning.
The following sections describe maintenance work necessary for optimum and fault-free operation.
Regular maintenance prolongs the service life and assures functionality of the appliance over a long
period.
Preparation
1. Remove the mains plug.
2. Close the shut-o valves. To do so, ip the two shut-o valves in the OFF direction (⌦N).
3. Unfasten the hose adapter and remove it from the top part of the lter (⌦E).
4. Carry the external lter by the recessed grips to a suitable cleaning location.
5. Remove the top part of the lter (⌦A).
Cleaning the top part of the lter
1. Clean the underside of the top part of the lter under running water.
Cleaning the pump (150 / 250)
1. Turn the pump cover

in the top part of the lter to the left (⌦P).
2. Take o the pump cover.
3. Remove the pump wheel

and the shaft

from the pump chamber (⌦Q).
4. Use a small screwdriver to carefully lift the strut

from the cooling duct (⌦T).
5. Clean all components under running water.
CAUTION! Risk of breakage.
The shaft for the pump wheel is made of ceramic material.
6. Clean the pump chamber, the cooling duct and the ow opening with the EHEIM cleaning set (art.
no. 4009560) (⌦T).
7. Install the strut and all pump components again in reverse order.
