sample measurement is interrupted, and continued after
successful calibration. If a calibration was not successful, an
error message appears. This needs to be confirmed then the
device changes to the Ready state. The display now shows
"Ready with new calibration". At measurement
start a calibration takes place first.
"Time account"
The device is ready to measure for 60 minutes after a
calibration. After measurement start the samples are measured
immediately. In the Ready to measure window the following is
displayed: "Ready xx min without calibration".
Once the 60 min have elapsed calibration does not take place
automatically. The display now shows "Ready with
calibration". At next measurement start a calibration takes
place first.
9.3.2 Sensor selection
This is only possible at a device with two measuring channels. Either
one of the two installed chip sensors can be deactivated or activated.
"Sensor 1" indicates measuring channel 1 and "Sensor 2"
indicates measuring channel 2. The current setting is visible in the Info
menu "Info-1 Sensor".
The lifetime of a chip sensor on the device is not extended by
deactivation. An inserted dummy sensor automatically deactivates the
appropriate measuring channel.
With measuring channel 2 deactivated, the measuring time is shortened
by approx. 8 seconds. With measuring channel 1 deactivated, the
measuring time is shortened by approx. 4 seconds.
9.3.3 Unit
The desired unit can be set for each measuring channel. Possible
settings are: mmol/l, mg/dl.
9.3.4 Sample type
Setting of the sample type used in the sample position.
Sample types:
Hemolysate (capillary, venous or arterial whole blood)
Serum (serum, plasma, sensor test solution)
