9. Device menu
The device menu can be called up in the Ready state. All settings are
retained in the event of a mains failure.
9.1 Stand By
When confirmed the device is set to the Stand By mode. Using the
Warm start button (see section 4.1, page 8) the device is switched on
again.
9.2 Counter presetting
All current counter numbers are visible in the Info Menu "Info-2
Counter".
9.2.1 Sample positions
Pre-allocation of the tray number and running sample number. The tray
number is raised by 1 every time measurement starts, the sample
number is raised by 1 with every sample measurement.
9.2.2 Special positions
Pre-allocation of the running numbers for control samples and urgent
samples. Each special position has its own circle of numbers which is
raised by 1 with every measurement in this position.
9.3 Device settings
9.3.1 Calibration mode
The desired calibration mode can be set:
"By starting"
With every measurement start calibration takes place. In the
Ready to measure window the following is always displayed:
"Ready with calibration"
"Periodic"
The device calibrates itself automatically every 60 min. At
measurement start the samples are measured immediately. In
the Ready to measure window the following is displayed:
"Ready calibration in xx min", where xx stands for
the time until the next automatic calibration. If the calibration
time runs out while samples are still being measured, the
