[Voltage Range] Select a voltage range
[Current Range] Select a current range
[Sensor] Select a radiation sensor
(Pyranometer: PYR/Ref. Cell: REF)
[Cal] Enter Pyranometer/Ref. Cell sensitivity
When “Sensor: PYR” is selected for the “Sensor”,
enter the sensitivity value of the pyranometer.
For the internal pyranometer, the sensitivity is stated on
the back of the Sensor Unit. For the external
pyranometer, use the sensitivity stated on the
pyranometer.
NOTE: When external pyranometer is used,
connect the pyranometer to PYR terminal and set
the switch to the EXT side.
When “Reference Cell: REF” is selected for the
“Sensor”, the entering unit for the sensitivity will be in
[mV/kW・m
2
] and setting value will be determined by
the following calculation:
[Reference Cell Current Value]
(mA/kW・m^2) × 0.1(Ω)
For Example, when connecting a reference cell which
flows 125mA at 1kW/m2, it will generate the following
amount of voltage:
125mA×0.1Ω = 12.5mV
Therefore, enter “12.5 [mV/kW・m
2
]”.
NOTE: When reference cell is used, connect it to
the REF terminal.
NOTE: Reference cell which flows more than
500mA cannot be connected to REF terminal.
