EKO INSTRUMENTS CO., LTD. I-V Curve Checker MP-11 Instruction Manual Ver.7
I-V Curve Zoomed View
Pressing the +/- button while the I-V curve is displayed will show the
graph in zoomed-up view; the zoom up effect changes by x2, x4, and
x8 as each time the +/- button is pressed.. Also the graph can be
moved by Left/Right buttons to change the displayed area.
The current (A) and voltage (V) values are indicated at the top of the
screen.
Use this function to find the slight reverse curve point on I-V curve.
P-V Curve (x-axis: Voltage (V), y-axis: Power (W))
P-V curve graph is a graph which is corrected from I-V curve to Voltage
and Power relationship. When a graph is indicated with x-axis for
voltage and y-axis for power, the power peak point is called “maximum
power, Pm”.
Derivation Curve (x-axis: Voltage (V), y-axis: Derivation Value)
Derivation curve is a graph which determines whether there is a
reverse curve point in the I-V curve by taking the y-axis for derivation
value for current against a graph to x-axis for voltage (V) (dI/dV).
The I-V curve gets distracted if there is a hotspot or shade in a part of
PV module or part of cells in the PV modules are defected and
deteriorated. With this function, even a subtle distraction which is
difficult to see on the I-V curve is emphasized and indicated clearly.
