Overview

The RFNT2 Laptop Battery Tester is a versatile device designed for testing and charging intelligent laptop batteries. It features two independent channels, allowing it to support and process two batteries simultaneously.

Function Description

The primary functions of the RFNT2 include:

  • Charging: The device supports active, pre-charge, constant current, and constant voltage charging stages. The initial charging mode adapts based on the battery's voltage.
  • Testing: A 30-second test checks both the charging and discharging performances of the battery. After the test, the LED flickers green, and the LCD displays the test result (Test OK or Test NG).
  • Monitoring: Battery information can be monitored in real-time through three windows:
    • Home screen: Displays battery bar and brief information.
    • Battery detail information window: Shows smart battery data in real-time, with options to save and print data in image format.
    • Battery graph window: Traces voltage, current, and capacity in curves.
  • Online Functions: The tester can be connected to a computer via a USB port, allowing users to monitor, control, and set parameters using the "Battery Manager" software. This software enables complete control over the slave machine, with right-click menu options on the battery bar for various commands. Users can also set working parameters through the "set parameter" window in Battery Manager.
  • Active Cooling: The device incorporates active cooling to maintain optimal operating temperatures.
  • Active Batteries of Zero Voltage: For deeply discharged batteries where the discharge protection circuit has activated, the device can supply an appropriate voltage to reactivate them.
  • Battery Identification: It can read battery information from the battery management chip after establishing communication.
  • Intelligent Protection: The RFNT2 is equipped with protection mechanisms against over-current, over-voltage, over-charge, over-heat, and short circuits.
  • Wide Compatibility: It is suitable for almost all laptop batteries, covering over 95% of models.
