  If your ELAC Subwoofer isn't producing any sound, there are a few things you can check: * **Mains fuse:** Examine and replace the mains fuse if necessary. * **Mains connection:** Verify the mains switch, plugs, and socket are properly connected. * **Input signal:** Inspect the input connections, try replacing the RCA cables, and confirm the signal source is working by testing it with another audio component.

Why is the output level too low on my ELAC SUB 2090 Subwoofer?

  If the output level from your ELAC Subwoofer is too low, the issue might be with the source. The output level from the source (pre-amp, surround decoder) may be too low. Try increasing the output level of the pre-amp to a minimum of 0.2 Volts. To compensate, reduce the power amp again or slightly reduce the gain for the main (center, effect) speakers, and then increase the master volume.

  If the maximum output of your ELAC Subwoofer is slightly too low in your living room, it might be due to its placement. If the placement of the subwoofer is too “open”, try placing it in front of a wall or in a corner.
