Advanced connection variant (bass management is performed by the subwoofer)
In this conguration, you must connect the “SPEAKER LEVEL IN” sockets on the subwoofer to the loudspeaker terminals on the
AV receiver using loudspeaker cables.
The corresponding loudspeakers (Center or Main) must then be set to “LARGE” in the menu on the AV receiver.
This connection variant bypasses the bass management in the AV receiver for the front channels, which frequently results in a
more harmonious soundstage across the bass range.
Connecting the subwoofer in parallel to the loudspeakers does not place any additional load on the amplier, as the input
circuitry in the subwoofer is merely using the voltage information and is not drawing any additional power.
